Aurora Zenfell, Founder/Conductor/Teacher

Aurora Zenfell is an orchestra director and private violin/viola teacher in the Austin area. In addition to teaching public school for 9 years in Austin, TX and Orlando, FL, she co-founded the Parent Orchestra with the UT String Project, later founding New Leaf Orchestra. She currently also leads the Primary Orchestra program at Meridian World School in Round Rock, and teaches lessons within RRISD and at her home studio. Ms. Zenfell holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from The Florida State University and a Masters degree in Music and Human Learning from the University of Texas-Austin. Her goals are to provide a positive place for people to learn and connect with one another, and to introduce students to many styles of string playing.
